Environment
Naval Group is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its products. Naval Group has been working on incorporating environmental requirements into its ships for more than ten years now, always aiming to strike a balance between environmental impact and operational requirements, from a life-cycle perspective. Meanwhile, Naval Group sites are defining and implementing actions to manage risks and mitigate the environmental impact of the company’s activities. Its environmental approach has been ISO 14001 certified since 2008 for both its products and activities.
Naval sector
Naval Group’s growth also depends on the economic dynamism of the naval defence sector in France. Generating more than 40,000 indirect jobs, the group is considered an essential stakeholder for the vitality of the employment areas in which it operates.
With 90% of added value created in France, and tens of thousands of indirect jobs created in its employment areas, Naval Group is a driving force in the French shipbuilding industry. Its growth brings in its wake that of the entire naval defence sector, i.e. that of the suppliers and subcontractors that depend on this activity.
Ethics and anticorruption
Naval Group is committed to promoting a culture of integrity and is constantly stepping up its vigilance in the fight against corruption and influence peddling.
Wherever we do business around the world, we apply a zero-tolerance policy in the fight against corruption and influence peddling. To ensure that all group employees share the same vision of ethics and code of conduct, Naval Group sets clear rules and ensures they are known to all. A repository exists in this field, with training delivered on the subject.
