Entire generations of ships designed, built and maintained by Naval Group support the sovereignty of our client navies. At the same time, the strategic revolution we face is generating a cohort of new challenges that nations, navies and manufacturers must address together, right now. Each of these timeframes comes with its own set of challenges, requiring flexibility, adaptability, the power of infrastructure and unparalleled skills to meet schedules, accelerate production and intervene on ships in operation.
In order to fulfil our commitments to our customer navies, we must be able to reconcile sustainability and urgency. Our unique positioning is what enables us to move forward according to these multiple timeframes. As an industrial prime contractor, designer and integrator of whole warships and combat systems, Naval Group operates according to several schedules: long-term design and construction, medium-term capability upgrades, the recurring timeframe of maintenance and the short timeframe of new technology. Synchronising these timeframes is key to supporting our purpose: we deliver power at sea.
To ensure our competitiveness and win new contracts, we offer high-performance, reliable and scalable products to enable navies to preserve their country’s sovereignty in all seas around the world.
Export is essential to develop our growth and balance our industrial model: 60% in France, 40% internationally. Internationally, Naval Group maintains its ambition to conquer new markets with a modernised Scorpène, the Blacksword® Barracuda, and the Defence and Response Frigate (FDI).
To improve our operational performance and make Naval Group its customers’ preferred supplier, we must transform not only our products but also ourselves. Launched in 2025, Cap 30, our transformation program, is designed to make Naval Group its customers’ preferred supplier by 2030.
It is based on three transformation priorities: health and safety, customer focus and operational excellence. We share half of our added value with a supply chain based mainly in France and we must ensure that this supply chain also develops alongside us, according to the same operational requirements as those we impose on ourselves. Their performance is ours!
It is composed of 14 members: Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Senior Executive Vice President Finance, Executive Vice President and General Secretary, Executive Vice President Submarines, Executive Vice President Surface Ships, Executive Vice President Services, Executive Vice President Systems, Equipment and Propulsion, Executive Vice President Drones, Autonomous Systems and Underwater Weapons, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing, Executive Vice President Operations and Performance, Executive Vice President Technical, Executive Vice President Human Resources, Executive Vice President Strategy, Partnerships and Institutional Affairs and Executive Vice President Communications.
