YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
 
The SBR project within the PROSUB program is a transfer of technology to build four conventional Scorpene-class submarines in Brazil and deliver them to the Brazilian Navy
Contacts for this position are as follows:
§  The end customer: the Brazilian Navy (BN)
§  The construction site (ICN) and its subcontractors
§  The Naval Group SBR teams in France and in Brazil (Construction ToT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics)
 
This position within the program is offered as part of an expatriate assignment to ITAGUAY, Brazil, and will be effective as of 31/12/24, with a notice period beforehand

Under the operational management of the Programme Director, you are responsible for coordinating the interface between Naval Group and the Brazilian Navy for the Trials and Acceptance (Provisional and Final) of the SBR submarines.
 
Your main assignments are to:
§   Participate in drawing up the Plans and Protocols related to the Trials and Acceptance (Provisional and final) of SBR submarines, ensure that they are applied by the stakeholders and recommend adjustments where necessary;
§   Provide your expertise on the Trials and Acceptance process
§   Organise, prepare and lead Acceptance committees between Naval Group and the Brazilian Navy
§   Collect requests from Brazilian Navy teams on site
§   Organise and lead alignment meetings between Naval Group and the Brazilian Navy when required; draw up the associated reports
§   Participate in monitoring the progress of Acceptance (progress indicators, production of deliverables, etc.), proposing and monitoring action plans to correct deviations

Profile

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

You have proven experience at Naval Group in coordinating Trials and Acceptance, and have worked directly with the Customer.
 
You have a level of English that allows you to communicate with ease both orally and in writing. You will need to learn Portuguese quickly.
 
You have a genuine capacity to listen to customers, and are committed, motivated and persistent in finding solutions and compromises.
 
Finally, you are rigorous in your activities and in your communication with all parties, and you have a real sense of teamwork and good communication skills, particularly with stakeholders from other cultures;
